Smot entered his very first competition ever on 1st June 2014: the Sinai Dressage Summer Series at Usk College Equestrian Centre, Gwent.

With great little rider Millie Arnup (age 10) on board the pair achieved the wonderful score of 72.61% in the BD Intro B test, coming 7th out of 24 combinations competing- Millie being the only child rider!  

The judge wrote:

"Nice test, showing good training and basics. Keep working hard and positive.  Entry and exit was confident.  Pony showing nice steps and relaxation when needed, clearly listening to you!"

What a brilliant start to competition.  Well done Millie and Smot - onwards and upwards now!
